VIVLI, the Center for Global Clinical Research Data, is seeking a Product Manager. Vivli is a mission-focused nonprofit that operates an independent platform for sharing individual participant data from clinical trials, connecting pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and funders who contribute data with researchers around the world for analysis. To help manage our continued growth, we are looking for a Product Manager to join the product team. The product team supports the full lifecycle of platform features — from requirements through release — and works closely with the development team, operations team, platform users, and other stakeholders. This role is a direct report to the Product Director.

Location: Remote, working core hours of 9am-5pm Eastern time zone, with the ability to travel 3-4 times per year.

The Product Manager will be responsible for owning assigned platform features and projects end to end, from stakeholder engagement through release. Key responsibilities include:

• Engage with stakeholders and platform users to gather feedback on the platform, understand their needs, and validate product ideas
• Write user requirements for assigned platform features
• Collaborate with the development team to write functional requirements specifications (FRS) and keep documentation current throughout the feature lifecycle
• Serve as the primary product contact for assigned projects, coordinating with the development team to ensure work aligns with approved specifications
• Design and execute product acceptance testing (PAT) for assigned features, document findings, and file bugs in Jira
• Support the Product Director with roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and release coordination
• Use AI tools to support testing and develop automations as part of Vivli’s AI initiatives
• Perform other duties as and when requested

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in science, health, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 1 to 3 years of product management or related experience
• Demonstrated experience writing user requirements, functional requirements, or product specifications
• Experience coordinating directly with engineering or development teams as the product representative
• Experience designing or executing product acceptance testing
• Strong written communication skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Strongly Preferred

• Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and bug management
• Experience in health data or clinical research
• Exposure to AI-assisted product workflows or feature validation

Nice to Have

• Experience with clinical data sharing or research data platforms
• Familiarity with Azure-based platform environments
