Summary of the Proposed Research:

Our project proposes the creation of a novel intelligent tool to optimize the parameters that lead to the proposal of the preprandial insulin dose, incorporating an automatic glucose predictor based on deep learning that considers the impact of previous patient’s physical activity. Additionally, we will build and integrate in the tool algorithms to calculate, in a personalized and dynamic way, the insulin sensitivity factor, active insulin and target glucose.
