Philippa Counter Hogstadius serves as the Project Coordinator for Vivli. She holds Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Tulane University. She studied Political Science for one year at Umeå University in Sweden.
Prior to joining Vivli, she worked at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC as a Program Specialist for the Georgetown Innovation Center of Biomedical Informatics (ICBI). At ICBI, she planned major bio-tech conferences and university wide events bringing leading researchers to Georgetown University. In addition to this she oversaw the financial reconciliation process, center operations, bi-annual newsletter and all marketing efforts.
Philippa has interned for Planned Parenthood, The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and a gubernatorial campaign to name a few. She served as a teaching assistant at Tulane University and focused her Public Health Analysis on women’s health disparities in the United States.
Her background and interests include: women’s health, non-profit management, marketing, bio-tech, policy, and health education.
