Clinical trials drive innovation and advance human health. Yet, many in the research community have long believed that we can do even more with the valuable information gathered in those trials. With the launch of the Vivli platform, the global research community will gain a powerful new way to discover, share, and analyze clinical trial data.
Vivli evolved from a project of The Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard (MRCT Center) to enhance access to clinical research data by promoting data sharing and transparency. In 2013, the MRCT Center and a diverse group of global stakeholders embarked on a mission to define, design, and launch a solution to global clinical research data sharing. The launch of the Vivli platform in July will be the final step in turning this MRCT project into a reality.
The Vivli platform launch event will be held at the National Academies in Washington, D.C. on July 19th. The is free but registration is mandatory, so please register online here as soon as possible as space is limited.

In addition to recognizing the diverse group of stakeholders and partners whose contributions have helped make the Vivli platform a reality, the launch will serve as a forum for discussion about the future of data sharing in the clinical trials research community. It is accessible by Metro’s Orange and Blue lines.
